I saw many wonderful places around Beijing. The Temple of Heaven had lots of round blue roofs. I tried out the Echo Wall but it didn't work. I stood on the spot where the Emperor would stand but I didn't get any power over my parents from it.
The Summer Palace is very big. We walked along the Empress's walkways which had lots of paintings. We climbed up a really steep hill to see the temple on top.
The Great Wall was amazing. We walked up and down and up and down which was really tiring but fun. We went into lots of watchtowers and even saw the part of the wall that was broken. I really enjoyed having Rod and Chris along on our trip. One day I'd like to return and climb other parts of the wall.
